yes!

I had a scottish boss back in the day and the way he used to say 'curly wurly' used to crack us up. We used to get him to say it if we were having a bad day

CurLAAAAY-Wurrrr-LAAAAAAY.

Do you? I am not saying you might not be right but curly-wurlys just doesnt look right.

I dont think the "s" should be used at all.

i'm glad they arent called somethin else in other countries. What else would they be called though?

I hated when they changed names of sweets to what they were called elsewhere. Its only a name but all the new names, like Starburst and Snickers are shit names.

i'm going to be in melbourne on 13 september. i'll stuff my bags full of rolos and jolly ranchers for a small fee of $567 + VAT + 6 months' supply of cherry ripes. deal? DEAL!

the curly wurly is a bit scarce on the ground nowadays. before you could walk into any old newsagents and it'll be there, now i can only really find them in woolworths.. they have all the weird random sweets there. and space raiders!

CurLAAAAY-Wurrrr-LAAAAAAY.

Nastee - say it, record it and post it. YES!
haha, i might just do this. i sound more english than scottish though - i have a scottish islander lilt meets standard english voice. i think you need someone with a broader scottish accent to make it sound really LOL. i'll see if my flatmate can do a mock one for you!

I think that should be right but i doubt it. lets see which one looks best:

I was attacked by two curly-wurlys after a night out with a packet of skittles.

I was beaten up by a gang of curly-wurly after going to an all nighter with a finger of fudge.

I was savaged by two curly-wurliafter rocking all night at Fabric with a bag of maltesers.

I was grabbed by the short and curlies by two curly-wurlies whilst i was at fabric watching a DJ set by the Honey Monster.

I love Curly Wurlys. But you don't get them in every shop here. So, if you don't get them, you have to eat the top-side of a twix and throw the bisquit-side away. They should be sold more often...

Oh, great, now I'm hungry again. :(

^^ Yep they were called Piglets.

I used to like "Texan" bars - they were chewy orange coloured nougat covered in chocolate and came in yellow wrappers with "american wild west" style writing. YeeHaa!!

Anyone remember "sweet tobacco" ? Can't remember when this went away but it wouldnt see the light of day now. It was a tobacco pouch filled with thin coconut strips with chocolate powder or something. You chewed it like chewing tobacco and could even spit brown lumps like those crazy cowboys.

Barratts SHRIMPS!! YEah! The fairest of all pink confectionary - and all for the princely sum of 1 full english penny.

Jawbreakers!! The absolute muthaufcka of all color changing sugery magic

Mojo's?

Pint Pots - beer flavoured chewy penny chews

Milk Sticks

Toffo's

Happy Tattoo bubblies? with the smily face tattoos...

Dip Dabs

Space Dust - that popped in your mouth

Skullcrushers - which chocolate skulls with pink, strawberry flavoured fondant middle

Choc-Lik

Raspberry Ruffles

PArma Voilets

Kola Kubes
