I look at almost none at all. I watch online without commercials so I only watch 21 minutes Tuesday-Friday and none at all the other days. Everybody else in the house looks at shows non-stop.
What about you?
A couple of hours each night if I'm not busy with anything else. I watch a lot more since I moved away from my mates but I don't watch it if theres nothing on, I've never understood why people do that.

i'm one of those that turns it on while i'm getting ready in the morning, just to have noise on. usually a story on Today will catch my attention right as i'm heading out the door.
i'd say i watch about 3 hours a night.

In the summer, I watch about 3 hours or so, since if I have no plans, I'm usually sitting at home watching the Mets game.
I only watch a select few shows once the new seasons start, and it's usually through my DVR. So it varys from an hour to 3 hours. Depending on how much Tivo-Time I put in.

discounting sports, i watch maybe an 3 or 4 hours in a week. i'll probably watch a little more once i move out on my own, but normally i watch movies/sports or play video games instead if i'm laying around the house

My family does that all the time. They literally cannot walk in the house without immediately turning the TV on. It's the most annoying thing in the world, a little peace and quiet would be nice, but no, gotta watch something.

I'm an only child and I spent a lot of time alone growing up. I think I stopped having babysitters at age 7 because I convinced my mom I'd be safer and happier alone (I was pretty much right, thinking back).
anyway, as a result of that, I watched a lot of television. therefore, t.v. became my companion. The t.v. is almost constantly on in my house. I rarely sit and just watch t.v. though. I am usually doing other things at the same time.
I'd say I probably sit and watch t.v. without doing anything else at the same time for about 15-45 minutes a day. I usually have a laptop or a magazine within reach though.
it helps that I don't have cable though, I'd watch way more if I had cable.

they don't know shit.
sure they do, they have those unmarked vans parked outside your house right at this moment with a guy inside holding one of these (http://www.radar-detectors.co.uk/images/z45_radar_gun_big.jpg) and he can see that you're watching sexcetera. Go to your window.
