I do this a lot with a lot of songs. Rewind to certain parts of songs to hear them over an over. I do it a lot with Live Sure Shot at the "Listen everybody cause im". An a lot of Live beat drops an hearing them go OHHH an gettin real into it.
Whats some songs of the Boys that you always seem to have to rewind to certain parts to because you feel that part of the song so much ?

My two favorite live tracks are Root Down and So Watcha Want.
Root Down - Apache and whatever MMM drops in afterwards...
SWW - When the bottom drops out for Yauch, "Like a dream I'm flowing..."
Honorable mention
Body Movin' - Some times Mike is going nuts on the, "I'm fine like wine when I start to rap" verse

i remember listening and rewinding (old school cassette tape style) the breakdown bit in live at pj's ("soul claps" and all that) loads of times. I like messing with the acapellas as well and just fucking about with particular lines. I always wanted to use "legalize the weed and i'll say thank heavens" in a track but its not come to fruition yet.

I've REALLY been enjoying Shake Your Rump each time its been performed in the MMM era- for my money its the song that works best with mixey's skills- plus he throws amazingly fun stuff in there.
As for the particular moment- the "its the joint" part is always great because it signals the beginning of the next beat (usually the fabulous beat?- i'm too old school to know this shit).
And then every time they say shake your rump mike throws something awesome in. I believe they also have been doing that wheel-up stuff in here too. Its turned into a really fun song live- generally a show highlight for me!

When Hello Nasty came out my kid sister's son fell totally in love with it and scratched Body Movin', on cd! I don't know how he did it,
but he went back and forth, back and forth with it!

1) when I first bought hello nasty, it was that harpsichord sample break during "the move" that would drive me wild. y'know, that "dogs love me cause I'm crazy sniffable...." part?
2) The "rock the body body....." part of "shake your rump" from the live in glasgow performance wherein MMM throws in the "mr. big stuff" sample. i think that's the sample at least.
3) 3:15 to 3:28 of "off the grid". nothing crazy, but it leads up to this moment very nicely. quite a climactic point of the tune, IMO. it feels good.
chowder.

1) Word- harpsichord break is INSANE!- but the outro is the shit I bugged out on all summer when that dropped!
2) WHAT!?!
can someone please link this performance up for me! Please and thank you, anyone, Bueller?
3) Agreed! Off the grid almost instantly became one of my favorite instrumentals and its mostly because of how intense the building up and then the hard ass groove kicks in and its so on!

- the 'non stop hip hop' part on Putting shame in your game (dont get me wrong, the whole song is ill)
- the 'vocoder introductions' on Oh word? are the shit
