I'll go first :D I just really want to share. Especially because I know so many of you and if we've talked off the board, you may have an idea of how incredibly shit things have been in my life for a while now.

BUT!

it's changed.

- I' m moving in to an awesome area of Oakland on Friday with an great friend. I can WALK to work and I'll be getting a bike and EVERYTHING I need is all right here and near BART so I can get around with ease. No more I need a place to finally call home/need a car/etc stress!

- I go-go danced for a pretty well-known spot in San Francisco and they loved me! They want me back (getting paid to dance to 80's tunes and dress up 80's which I would do ANYWAY? yes, please)!

- People are constantly asking to see more art. With moving will mean more time (since I will not be commuting almost 3 hours a day total), and I get free classes (working for an art college) and live down the street from the art store that I get a 20% discount at so, looks like I'll have a show pretty soon!

Things are going so well for me right now that I feel like I'm dreaming or that someone is playing some kind of cruel joke on me and I'll wake up tomorrow to a video camera and someone saying "JK!"

I'm pretty sure I'm awake though, and that it isn't a joke. Woo!

why are you ridiculously happy lately?

make the "I feel like shit" thread to counterbalance this one, if you wish.

I got a new cell phone! it takes pictures and videos and it plays mp3s and is a radio and a pedometer and you can watch t.v. on it!

IT'S THE FUTURE!

anyway, I'm pretty excited about the radio/mp3 thing since my iPod is on death's doorstep. gotta get a memory stick tho.

a pedometer

useful if you're ever in a catholic church...or a boy scout meeting...or roman polanski's house...anyway

my cell phone has one of those too, but there's no way it's accurate. it thinks i've walked 10 miles today but that's not quite right i don't think. i wish it were accurate, i want to know how far i walk sometimes

edit: oh shit, that's exactly the same exact phone i have! word of warning, the pedometer doesn't work

you can read the internet on it though

yeah, so far I've stomped around inside for several meters and it says I have 0 steps. total BS!

I'm pretty happy with the rest of the features so far though, it's pretty easy to navigate. I'm easy to please though, I only paid $20 for it as it was time for an upgrade with my phone plan. I read that there was lag, but compared to my old phone, it's lightning fast.
