Hi guy, i'd like to know if someone of you has some FREE old photos of the beastie boys (1981 - 1995) , avoiding to do a violation of the copyright. Thanks!:)(y)

Unfortunately each of them has an author; i should, first, find the name of its photographer - it is not simple - then see if this author has an e-mail, a site to contact him; finally, if he/she answer me and he/she gives me the authorization to use the photos. I hope to find here someone who shot a photo to the beasties some years ago and give me the photo. Not simple as you think!!However, it's for wikipedia!!:):cool::p

i did, no answer. Now i'm gonna go away for some days, hope to find lots of e-mails by friedman, powell, levine and many others!! Very difficult to find helps from the others, now i sent an e-mail also with flickr to oscilloscope laboratories, mic to mic and beastie mania. Hope my care will be appreciated!!

Eventually, without any hope by any their photographer, i did a gr8 work about the beasties in the italian wikipedia (http://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beastie_Boys). Tired but satisfacted, think also the beasties would give me the (y).

I don't speak Italian but it looks concise enough.

Seeing as it's wiki, I'd doubt you needed to go to that much trouble to attain those images. I'd have just popped them in regardless.

No troubles to obtain these photos because they are recent and coming from flickr. As you can see, no old photos appear in the page. A pity, but i've been able to use enough photos. The category of the featured articles is waiting for the page!!:cool:
