Is Around the World by Daft Punk.

In this thread, I do not want to know what you think is the best music video, just for you to concur and move along.

Most of you kids are lucky. These are the videos I had to watch when MTV was in its video prime.

I always liked Shock the Monkey better than Sledgehammer. By the time Sledgehammer came along, it was all about gimmicks and record company's spending a lot of time and money on videos and I always preferred the ones that looked amateurish. Sledgehammer is a terrific video for what it is though, as are Losing My Religion and Jeremy. It's obvious why they were a big deal when they were released and why they live on.

I'm older than all of you, and the videos that really stood out for me were the first ones I saw, before MTV. HBO used to play them between movies waaaay back in the day (before cable TV), and my local channel played them late at night. I saw Tom Petty's Refugee on late night local TV, and I saw The Pretenders' Brass In Pocket on HBO. The early videos that I loved were U2's Gloria, Elvis Costello's Peace Love and Understanding, anything Talking Heads, and Tom Tom Club's Genius of Love (that's getting a little later though).

In 1978-1982 I really loved the Police. I hated Sting by the time Synchronicity was released, but you might try to imagine being a teenage girl and seeing Don't Stand So Close to Me for the first time, before MTV, when you rarely saw videos and had almost no access to them. :o

Oh, I was going to ask about worst video ever. There are so many contenders, but I dare you to watch Bette Midler's Beast of Burden video with Mick Jagger's "acting". Are any of you old enough to remember that two or three year period when videos began with an acting scene?
