6 years. just about the longest relationship I've had. it was a really tough decision, but it just hadn't been working for a long time and we couldn't have tried any harder to make it work either.

But after living with someone and being in a relationship for so long, it's going to take a while to figure out what's normal anymore. he's moving out of the apartment we chose together and once he's all moved, it's going to be strange to be there alone. I may have to move too...but I don't want to decide that now.
