the yahoo interface is 100 times better than the AOL one, thats for sure. its certainly cumbersome, but everything is accessible unlike aol.

i feel ya on larry johnson. i had shaun alexander as the stud on my restored dynasty team (i took a guys last place team to first in 2 years) and then last year he shit the bed on me and now he's done, so whatever.

I dropped Rodgers for Warner but kept Hasselbeck. I picture a big year for Warner considering he threw 27 TDs in 11 games last year. If not, I still got Hasselbeck and I have enough transactions to pick up another QB. I have good enough receivers and backs that I'm not counting on my QB for a ton of points.

Hasselbeck is a great choice for a starting QB. He's going to have a much better year than last and the Seahawks should roll into the playoffs rather easily.

You've got a good point about Hasselbeck's back and the other injuries. You have to admit though, a healthy Seahawks team is very bad for any team in the NFC. It all depends on the health of the before mentioned players. Hasselbeck will start in Week 1 but I anticipate a lot of running. Not that that should be a shock.

Ronnie Brown is the most frustrating running back in the history of fantasy football. And no, he did not just have the one good week. He gets good yardage but Chad 'Fuckface' Pennington hands it off to the stoner Ricky Williams a lot on the red zone. He better deliver in the next two weeks.

Limas still needs to prove himself, which he should have plenty opportunities to do with Nate Wash gone. That is if McDonald doesnt beat him out. Im excited about him. As for Mendenhall, he can't do much worse than last season, right? Oh, and the odds of Super Bowl/Stanley Cup wasnt with us either. D wins championships.

As for the Eagles,
I don't think the Eagles are planning on having Jim Johnson back at all this season. How that affects them is anyone's guess at this point.
It'll all come down to if his replacement Sean McDermot is as good at holding players responsible as Johnson is.
He was Johnson's right-hand guy, so I'm optimistic.

Losing Dawkins was absolutely devastating for the fans here.
They really didn't even make an effort to sign him, and the fans are pretty pissed.
He clearly lost a lot as far as athletic ability, but we will miss his leadership both on the field and in the locker room.
He was responsible for calling all of the secondary's signals, and if you've ever seen him play live, you'd know he was the guy dancing on the sidelines before the game and getting everyone on the entire team motivated, a lot like Ray Lewis does for the Ravens.
He was the heart and soul.
His absence is gonna be huge.

We also lost Runyan on the O-line. He was another heart & soul guy, and the leader of that line. He was the one responsible for calling all of the adjustments during the game.

There's definitely a leadership void on this team from where it was last year.


Also, as for McCoy and Jeremy Macklin. Andy Reid has a horrible history with utilizing rookies properly, so buyer beware with these guys when it comes to draft day.
McCoy will not see the field until he drastically improves his poor blocking technique, which I'm hoping he does quickly because Westbrook is still ailing.
Reid also likes to spread the ball all over the field. Although Macklin should start immediatley, don't expect him to contribute consistently.
Ried would rather have 10 different guys with 2 catches each, than have the three starters get all the plays.
I think Macklin will have a similar year as DeSean Jackson had last year, 60 catches, 900 yards. Solid, but not consistent enough for fantasy purposes.

Speed's all that really matters when you're a RB in the NFL, right Rob? What about Frank Gore, Brandon Jacobs, Marion Barber, Steven Jackson, etc.....all that I guarantee you would get dusted in a 40 by Rashard.


Also, you the fuck are you trying to kid? McCoy will be the starter after 4-6 weeks due to Westbrook having a bowling ball of water on his knee.

The experts are down on Cutler, but I think they're wrong. He's a stud. I think he should be around the top 5-6 this year. Orton put up top 5 numbers for a stretch last year with the same group, but with less experiene. Bear pass D was real vbad last year, but the run D was good. Teams scored on them but didn't really run the clock. They will throw alot more than people think, I see more TDs & less yards than last year. I think Olsen is the leading receiver. Watch out for Earl Bennet and Johnny Knox is a deep deep sleeper.

What is this a 20 team league? Your RBs group is a sack of turds. I think people are nuts taking Chris Johnson with a 1st or 2nd round pick this year. I loved his value last year but Lendale is too much of a vulture.

I too like Avery & Bennett. Earl the Pearl is the real deal and Cutler already trusts him more than Hester.

I would try to package some of these guys to get anything you can before the season:

Eagles play the Saints and it should be a shootout.

You should take the trade for Thomas Jones. He's going to continue to have a big year. It's easier to find a WR on a week to week basis than a running back.
