That was fake though.

My room mate just came home and I told her I'd just spent the last hour or so watching people owning hecklers but had no idea how it started, then I stumbled across this tab. I wasted so much time that I forgot how it started :(

Joe Rogan basically owns hecklers... I think its because he is a loud mouth. Pretty funny though. Wait, I think it also can be because he looks like he is about to whip out a can of whoop arse and poop out your organs when he is finished with ya.

bill hicks had girl problems, i think. i wouldn't call him misogynistic though, there were just certain women that he hated a lot

Yeah, she probably was horrid, but he's a tool.

I guess anything goes as long as it's not race based. Someone should have told Michael Richards.

It was fake? It seemed real to me but I didn't read up on it.

I've done the same thing out of boredom once. I just typed in hecklers and watched for about an hour and a half.

I also saw footage of Maynard Keenan shoulder toss some guy that jumped on stage during a song. Not really a heckler but..

i remember attending a vanilla ice concert sometime in...2003? around there, in his heavy metal days. anyway it was a free concert at my friend's university, and the crowd basically just threw bottles at him the entire time (big-time bottles, like 40 oz glass bottles, some not quite empty), but he was such an incredible champ about the whole thing. he didn't stop the show, he kept singing while dodging bottles, he actually caught a few and threw them back. at one point some stage hand came out with a broom and tried to brush all the broken glass and malt liquor off the stage in the middle of one of 'nilla's songs and he fucking flipped out on him, he grabbed the broom and threw it at the audience

after the song he explained, it was something like "YOU NEVER INTERRUPT ME IN THE MIDDLE OF A SONG! IF THOSE FUCKERS WANNA THROW SHIT, I'M JUST GONNA THROW IT RIGHT BACK!"

it was such a great concert, i wish i was drunker at the time. i used to have a video of him singing "ice ice baby" at this show and it's one of my favorite things that i've ever seen, but i seem to have lost it somehow :( :( :(

i know i've told this story before but it seems appropriate here

That is a great story. He played Adelaide last year, as Vanilla Ice. I wanted to go but didn't.

That isn't such a great story.

Here is the maynard video ericlee was referring to. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T-wE5LtDKPU)

maynard rules, that dude was even bigger than him but he took him down so easy. ha. maynard lives in arizona and has a winery now. he seems like a jerk, but apparently he's just a hard worker and has no patience or understanding for people who are bonkers obsessed with him. understandably so.

Yeah I've heard that too. He has a house here, as Adelaide has a very large international wine industry. A friend of mine was in a local record store, when he looked over and saw Maynard flipping thru records. No one had seemed to recognise him. So my friend went over and said 'uhhh.... are you Maynard?' and Maynard said 'yeah'. My friend didn't really know what to do after that, so he just walked outside the store and called me, then went back in and Maynard was gone.

I didn't really believe him until I spoke to the girl behind the counter, that I knew from high school. She told me he pops in every few months!!

And that my friends, is a terrific story.

I have a special place in my heart for artists that get bottled and dont give a fuck. Like lethal bizzle at download (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6KR3dCOE2lY&feature=related) recently. If you go though the other videos on youtube of it you see that by the end the crowed actually seemed to be chearing him.

Even g-unit (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cqjXIO2bYXY&feature=related) put up with it for a while

Clash of the Titans Tour, somewhere around 90, the concert promoter ended up not knowing better and had a concert in Greenville, South Carolina of all places. I guess they needed gas $ to get to Atlanta. The bands were Slayer, Megadeth, Anthrax and Alice in Chains

When Slayer got on stage, God only knows why, but people started throwing plastic half full beer cups at them. Bear in mind, they had just released a powerhouse of an LP "Seasons in the Abyss" And they more than likely cut their set list short with Tom ending the travesty saying "Thank You for your Southern Hospitality" Far be it for me to get in the minds of Slayer but I see the cup tossing as a term of endearment not an act of get the Fuck off the Stage. Slayer shows are hostile at best and the fans are always get rambunctious at the very least. At any rate: Slayer don't like half full plastic beer cups thrown at them while they're playing

Whereas the Bill Hicks video is truly a moment of a tongue lashing. God, I miss Bill Hicks: The fodder that he would have to work with since his passing is unfathomable and I'd love to hear what he has to say about the here & now.
