but it only went by a day in real time, what would you do? Study a dead language? Search your soul? Rigorous physical training? Assuming you had food water and plumbing at your disposal. As well as books and shit.

Listen to music and do nothing. It's a beautiful thing to do Nothing: Most People can't wrap their heads around that idea

I'd still get pissed off at the thought of my neighbour using my bin.

write a novel while doing rigorous physical training.

I was at the beach today and saw people running and stuff, all fit and whatnot. I ride my bike about 50 miles a week or so, but I could be doing more. I thought maybe I'd start waking up early and going for faster longer rides before work. but then I was like, yeah right. I'm not a morning person.

Sadly, I spend most my time doing nothing.

I believe the answer to this question is 'everybody will do nothing'. Let's move on.

lmao I thought all this time people going through isolation posted in message boards. I thought I was one.

Well from one dude that is semi-isolated I would say tv is good and drawing for me.

I'd spend the year somewhere in the Alps, writing and doing stuff like chopping firewood and hiking around and generally getting fit just by living a robust, physical life, drinking water from mountain streams and breathing good fresh clean air as I watch the changing seasons. There'd probably be some kind of spiritual element to that too, in a quiet contemplation kind of way.

I'd happily live the full year in isolation. Most people piss me off so much that just walking to the shops for a loaf of bread leaves me ranting and raving like a loon.
