Just curious: is anyone here going to go see this?
Personally, I've had enough, but I'm sure it's got an audience. Just curious who.

as much as one of those high level Star Wars fan I am... I cant say I will watch it. Sorry, but I'm more in the Empire saga than Clone Wars era. Also I dint follow the animated Clone Wars at all as much as I wanted to I couldnt see it at the time. I'm not watching the movie mostly because I missed out on those shows and it just seems like that movie will have the characters and background story that I might of missed on. :(

this clone wars cartoon is different from the other clone wars cartoon and supposedly unrelated. the movie is the jumping off for the cartoon network/tnt series. which in of itself is something new, having it air as a drama and as a kids show on two different networks.
I'm a big Star Wars nut but this hasn't even registered so much as a blip on my (force) radar. I'll probably hire it just out of curiosity.
Same applies to the Force Unleashed video game, it's bound to be a donkey but I'm curious to how both stories will fit into the saga.

I was talking to ABC.
I have almost no interest in it -- mainly, my only interest is who is interested in it.
I haven't liked any of them since Empire. I nearly walked out of Attack of the Clones, except the word was that the end battle was so great.
It wasn't.
Sith was a little more powerful than it deserved to be, but still not good.
This thing looks pretty bad.

If this was made with the Lego people then I would have watched it. They are so cute!

I saw the trailer for it and it seems targeted to kids. Kind of introducing the 8 year olds to the whole Star Wars franchise. So...I'll be taking my kids.
Ugh. It's like having my favorite childhood horse (if I liked horses) being beaten to death and then left on my front porch where vagrants and drifters wander by to piss on and otherwise defile the corpse.
I can't figure out the appeal either. Was anyone begging for more of the Clone Wars era story? Anyone? It was godawful bland. At least make a movie out of something interesting...like the bounty hunters or jabba's palace stories - or the Shadows of the Empire series - hell, even a series of short films about characters from Mos Eisley that led up to original trilogy scenes would trump this animated disaster. Why churn out garbage like this.

Yeah, I also was not very much enthusiastic with Attack of The Clone. Is not really worthy. Revenge of the Sith was great mostly because it wraps up the how did Anakin get all his scars in Return of the Jedi, Darth Vader's tantrum in the end was funny yet scary, this time Ben Kenobi kicks the fuck out of Vader.
and Yeah I saw this movie Clone Wars was a kids movie so I'm not really interested in it. It just looks typical kids movie. Well, I guess I will see it when I rent since now I know the story is different than the animated series.

I think it's just an exvuse to blow stuff up, like the cartoon. Battle battle battle stupid words battle
battle battle repeat.
Didn't Lucas get rid of Pixar back in the day? I think he's testing out new animation stuff. He built a studio
for this project...

hmmm this movie was preeeeeeetttyy lame. Although, it is targeted for children so you do get some....uuhh pretty decent dialog with some certain content of explosions and one fucking retarded character (Zero The Hutt). Not really worth seeing it at theaters but it is a good rental or to buy for kid's birthday.
However, I'm pretty much liking to see the series in Cartoon Network.
Just dont go by your expectations of this as the only thing this movie has to go by. Dont go in with high expectations as most dickwads do when they bitch about how horrendous the movie was and blow it out of proportions. Just follow and enjoy the movie's own merits.
have I told you lately, that I love you?
Hah, thanks Rod Stewart. If only more girls understood the delicious nerdiness that stems from true Star Wars original trilogy worship.

My son and his friend, both age 6, somewhat enjoyed this movie. It ran about 30 minutes too long, and the music was dreadful.
The baby Hutt was kinda cute, though.
We will not be purchasing this movie on DVD.
