Because of these remakes in development:
RockNRoll Highschool (http://geeksofdoom.com/2008/07/31/stern-to-desecrate-ramones-with-rock-n-roll-high-school-remake/)
Rocky Horror Picture Show (http://www.variety.com/article/VR1117989391.html?categoryid=13&cs=1)
The Karate Kid (http://www.themovieblog.com/2007/12/will-smith-to-direct-karate-kid-remake-steven-chow-in-talks)

And this was all announced in a WEEK so who the hell knows when within a couple days somebody else will also inform on another remake in the works

Take it easy. You have to have bad to reconize good.

Tr2n is on its way. Be patient. It will make up for those remakes.

Why don't they just remake Groundhog's day?

Don't tease me! I would totally watch if they made an ongoing television series out of it.
