Anyway. Good movie, overall. Really good acting, though my beloved Scarlett makes a couple of missteps.

Really beautifully directed, though the camera slides out of focus a lot for no apparent reason except maybe
the focus puller was in the can or something. I saw one instance where it looked purposeful and it made sense;
otherwise, I kept thinking that maybe something was messed up in the projection room. But then there'd be
an edit and the next image was crystal clear.

Huh.

And, yes, the (main) kiss between Scarlett and Penelope was pretty erotic, even though it was nothing
really overt.

hahah that was exactly what i was going to come in here and post. 21st century woody allen = (n) i wouldn't waste my money. although will this be 'the exception' everyone keeps hoping for? who knows. i wish europe would stop giving him money to make his films here. sorry!

ALTHOUGH.
i did see the trailer very briefly this evening and scarlett (who i pretty much abhor in most films) said something along the lines of "you have to seduce me first" and it cut to them on the floor with javier pinning her hands up above her head and that was pretty hot.

that is all.

It was, I would have responded as Christina did. He was pretty hot throughout the film ...and I don't find him attractive.

I just saw this ...and I really like it. It's as if I have had something similar happen and can relate to how each character felt in this entwined situation.
