Is my new favorite TV show. It's on the Food Network. It always makes me want to gas up the car cruise. The host Guy Fieri is has just the right balance and his ability to stuff junk food in his mouth is admirable.

More than all the PBS and History Channel shows this show portrays America in the best of lights.

Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives (http://www.foodnetwork.com/food/show_dv) fucking rules all other current TV Shows.

you're saying this and that but I'm reading "LawSuit" because my Drunk Restaurant thread was everything that reaks of. My lawyer tells me too keep my trap hole closed but I'll say forthcoming that I'd settle if the Flash Gordon was made into a sequel

Drunk Restaurant is "money" don't sue, produce the show, then make it unique. I mean make it unique by having the segue way to commercials always be a blackout or which places make you puke more smoothly.

Call off your lawyers. Litigation sucks, one upping rules.

That guy is cool. I'm not in Man Love with him or anything, but his dorkiness and actual true love of junk food is not fake. Which expedites the bullshit and let's this show really represent Americana.

I guess what I'm trying to say is he's doing a great job. And what a great job to have BTW! Cruising USA and eating at Diners, Drive-ins and Dives! Brilliant! I work all year so I can spend my money in this manner and he's getting paid for it.

You may have a point, I really have never met someone named Gordon. Flash Gordon is underused and needs a sequel to bring it around town.

skip this "diners etc" show cause its true, the host is a tool.

If you want some greasy spoonage/down home cooking experiences then watch Alton Brown's "feasting on asphalt"
then you get the best of both worlds, sorta same topic but waaaaaaaaaay better host.

I know some people hate him, but Jamie at Home is still one of my favorite shows. I just enjoy having a show where the home garden is the main focus.

Fuck Your god: Erase That Being

Fucking Slayer:

Be optimistic, happy, and calm
Show no fear or anxiety
Smile at the face of God
And your reward will be eternity
Holy warriors
Your patience will be justified
Everything is for Him
You must not confront the animal before you kill it
Strike as champions at the heart of the non-believers
Strike above the neck and at all extremities
For it‘s a point of no return for Almighty God
God will give victory to his faithful servants
When you reach ground zero you will have killed the enemy
The Great Satan!

Alright, I'll watch these other shows, but I'm going to tell you up front that Diners, Drive-ins and Dives are my favorite places to eat. So whatever. I doubt they capture the overall vibe and sheer enjoyment of Americana that my show does.

It's easy to dismiss the host, Guy Fieri (http://www.guyfieri.com/the_man.html), as a tool, yet his background tells me that the Food Network is the tool and he is the operator. This show has all of the elements of Great Food without the preliminary primers of cuisine, it takes off in enough directions each half an hour to satisfy any serious chef or average schlub in the USA.

Nope your all wrong, this show is currently the best show on commercial TV.

Here's Where You're Wrong:

They make all this food and you have the fork and spoon but there's never a meal.

Those shows are like soft core porno's in that they might show but don't deliver.

I know some people hate him, but Jamie at Home is still one of my favorite shows.

His whole cheeky chappie schtick can get really annoying after a bit, but I have to say that I have never made a Jamie Oliver recipe that didn't turn out excellent and tasty and was reasonably easy to prepare.

Bit like that Rachel Ray; god you just want to punch her repeatedly don't you, but she has really got some bloody good recipes.

It's not the culinary experience that makes this the best show in America, it's the trip, the journey and the experience of traveling the USA.

But never under estimate the Food, such as Taylor's Automatic Refresher (http://www.taylorsrefresher.com/) in St. Helena or all the other places visited (http://www.foodnetwork.com/food/show_dv/article/0,3151,FOOD_29156_5566108,00.html) by this show. It's fantastic.

Well I see he has been to both the White Manna and the Brownstone in Jersey City, and done a whole Jersey Diner episode, so already without even seeing it I know it must be a good show.(y)
