I know that there are some people on this board that have checked out the Group Y Society, esp for their track good communication that samples "Get it Together".
They are an amazing duo, esp the producer from DC Damu the Fudgemunk. He is one of the greatest underground producers out there that produces in a Jazzy golden-age style.
I really think that if he produced one track for the Beastie Boys new album they would mesh very well with his style (listen to Soul Brother # 3 Free Style on his free album Overtime) . Who knows maybe they will read this post and check him out at least, but he def has more heart than most producers these days.
Anyways he has some free instro albums out and some production videos on you tube so everybody should check him out.
(Please trust me when I say he is not just another "peep" my Myspace Page artist. He is just waiting to blow up)
