So I saw Lee "Scratch" Perry and the Devastators last night.
It was a fun show - and I broke my streak of hearing girls cry/vomit in the bathroom (yay!)...
Got an autograph - the band were really nice about it, too. It's a pleasure to find that someone you like from afar is pleasant.
I brought the issue of Grand Royal with Lee on the cover and the base player asked if I'd like it signed (why not? I only brought this to read - but sure!), took it backstage... and then about 10 minutes went by, as the place was emptied out - where the hell is my magazine? - then the fella (Wes Mingus. No relation.) comes back saying that Lee read the article about himself, he'd never seen it before.
