This is a prime example of how uncomfortable, anxious and unsettling McCain appears to me. Is it just me or does it seems like he's trying to convince himself.

In answering the foreign policy question he changes the subject to energy. And he says she understands that Russia is right next to Alaska. Is that seriously his answer?
yeah, some airhead on fox news and cindy mccain made the same justification for palin's foreign policy credentials: that alaska is next to russia, so therefore she has foreign policy experience.
i'm sure there are conservatives (or libertarians) out there who find this incredibly embarrassing. not all of them can't be mixed up in the idiocracy that is the republican party.
i feel like "alaska is close to russia" thing started as a joke, but people kept repeating it to the point where it became a legitimate talking point. i don't understand that.

I'm next to Mexico. I'm ready to be Vice President.
The funny thing about "they don't have the experience" is that of course none of these people have all of the experience needed to be President. They weren't President before. Nobody will ever have the correct amount of experience. Thats why you have a Cabinet and advisors and Congress etc. Thats why you surround yourself with people who are smart in certain areas that you may not be. You just need to have the ability to make desicisons based on the information those people are giving you. Bush was Gov. of Texas and how did that help him be President? Didn't. One of the worst of all time. He also surround himself with horrible adivisors etc.
Such a waste of time.
Now, getting on people for desicions they have made about policies they have played a part of, makes sense to me.
