Geez, just hold it. If you fall asleep then it wont matter until the middle of the night, and then when you get up and go you will still be half asleep.

When I'm at home I usually use the bathroom a lot because I drink a lot of water but now I try and drink a little less and hold it for when I really need to go so I don't waste so much time going to the bathroom every five minutes.

Imagine the same scenario but you've just stumbled to your tent through stupidly thick mud and you lie down to go to sleep but need to pee and the loo is really far away and you have to get waterproofs and wellies on again and trudge through more mud! there's no shame in the rain.

Yes! I really can't stand this.

It's my fault, though. I can easily go through 6-8 litres of water a day so needing to go to the toilet 5 minutes after getting into bed is pretty understandable.
