oh i've seen all these ads. first time in a LONG time that VA is a battleground state. kinda neat that we may finally be turning blue, but the commercials are killing me!

I haven't seen very many ads at all. Chicago's pretty much a lock, but McCain was here the other day at a campaign fundraiser and raised more money than anyone thought.


I have watched some of Obama's ads online and it seems like they're more fact-based than McCain's. or at least they aren't really attacking his personality or calling him a pervert. :/

As long as the unions are strong here in Chicago, the entire state of IL will be Dem. Chicago has been run by Dems forever, and it's the most corrupt city on earth (I think New Orleans is close behind). I often wondered how we'd expect to make a Democracy out of Iraq, when we can't even get to that goal here in Chicago.

As far as ads go. I don't think anyone makes a decision on those goofy things.
Chicagoans might remember the slogan "What Was She Thinking?" That shit was on 24/7. What was she thinking?

chicago is wacky corrupted, I can't even figure out what the hell goes on here. I know that there are people working to clean stuff up at least. my friend works at the juvenile detention center and they just got rid of a ton of jobs that were basically fake. people were on the payroll, but not doing any actual work. nutz!

Not too sure about that. Chicago has been run by crooks since it's begining. Detroit has some shady deals as well, but most of them get exposed, and even the Mayor gets put in the slammer. Cook county has had huge issues since day one, and they get bigger by the day. Detroit doesn't have enough money comming in to be that fucked up. That's a sign that there's not too many deals going on under the table.
