Lemme tell you, it's a good thing I wasn't drinking when I read this article because I would have spit it out all over the screen.

UPDATE: Rove said Sunday Democrats e-mailing around his quote without noting that he levels similar criticism against Obama were distorting his meaning. “Of course, they fail to say anything about the fact I said they were even more misleading,” he told Politico.

Nothing to see here folks.

It's expected that he's going to say "liberal Obama" is going too far in his ads. It's Karl Rove. That's what he does. He attacks the left like a hungry pitbull. It says it right in that CNN article I linked that he leveled the same criticisms at Obama, that's no big secret.

The reason why I was so surprised is he's actually going after McCain, too. I'm absolutely shocked that he'd actual criticize someone on his OWN side. In a system of alliances and special priviledges that the Bush administration has going on, dissenters are shunned and shut out. No one can say bad about them, that's the way it's always been. And for Karl Rove, the leader of the "shut up the dissenters" point of view, to say that...well. Shocking.
