That's my Sunday Morning Coming Down cue...and I like to watch for the cat's,everytime they change the intro, the song remains the same and there is always a nice cat or 2 climbing around the row housing, stalking pigeons or such...(y)

Years since I've watched it and its been sexed up a bit! But yeah, when I look out the window I see terraced housing and grey sky 99% of the time - so to answer ya question: Yes
But we do have free health care! (its all we have now).
This reminds me of staying at my grandparents house when I was about 6 years old. They wouldn't miss an episode of Corrie and listen to it on full volume, but my Grandpa always turned the sound off for the adverts because he didn't believe in them. He's still alive, Grandma isn't.

Here in Manchester, the only thing that plays on local radio stations and shop PA systems is the Coronation Street theme tune.

That and Oasis. You like Oasis, right? They're British, you're British, etc.

ahahahahah and i bet everyone looks like ginger baker (http://www.drumsoloartist.com/Site/Drummers/images/Ginger-Baker.jpg) and has about four teeth, talking like east end cockneys or pirates, living off of nothing but tea or guiness, liver and onions, pressed rat and warthog, dog legs and feet, with pub fights and stabbings everywhere you look.

Guiness is Ireland. You know, the place that all Americans pretend they come from. Here we drink warm ale.
drat, i thought it was english.
and it doesn't matter what football club you support, because someone will always regard you as "scum".

Word...and it's bacon botty's,bangers and mash, cheese and chutney sangy's and fare from the local chipper on the culinary front...:D
*and some of the best take away curry's from Birmingham to Bombay proper...*
You mean bacon butties, cheese and pickle sarnies, chippy.
Or was I missing the irony?

I'm thinking of just laying down some maple syrup-covered plaid shirts in a cage somewhere and seeing what I've caught the next morning.

That's a sound strategy...you may wanna throw in a bowl of borscht, cabbage rolls or some perogies...and remember when removed from her natural setting and cornered or feeling threatened the HEIRESS becomes agressive and very dangerous...aproach your trap with caution and heavy leather gloves (preferably the type you might handle birds of prey with),eye protection, and helmet...

I'm here but just about to watch my new DVD 'Willie Dynamite' a 70's blaxploitation flick about a pimp(y)
I'm from 'Coronation Street' land. I'm a little bit corrie and a little bit 'Pheonix Nights'.
'There is a place I know,
my place of eternal bain,
under cumulus, over cobbles,
this place will never change'.
I wrote that at school, and I can't remember the second verse. But yeah it can be quite miserable but there is fun to be had in those parts. Just ask Freebaser about Canal Street (y)
