its kind of funny how as kids we dream of being heroes and those that reeeaally want to be, a super hero, will try create just that in reality. So we draw. We draw because we want to see what we want. No matter how unreal it may be, to Alex Ross its something that he will do everything he can do in making heroes a reality.

these days, there arent many artists like this, there are others who really do try to make the world see something different or think differently, there are others who like the attention and will do anything to get that even if their work is not a type that can be viewed as art, and there others who create to preach to the audience of their own thoughts on a subject. Art is subjective, yes it is. Maybe this belongs to an art forum. As young artists what or who do we create for? What is it that we want? So many people ask what is art, and I think what we should ask, what are artists? All I can say is artists devote their souls to their own creations for a lot of reasons, there is a side of us that we must face and such other professions who choose to follow their own craft with their life, we must confront ourselves and decide, we must decide at where we stand.


Alex Ross clearly shows that thru his work. I want to do the same.
