I've been collecting them. Which are your favorites?

I'm leaning toward the foreign travel experience lies:

She went to Iraq . . . Oops, not quite.
She visited Ireland . . . her plane got gas there once.

I sort of understand the big lies. But when you lie about stuff that isn't important, it's fascinating to me. I'm not good at psychology, is compulsive or what?

As a recovering alcoholic (Thank You Dutch Harbor AK.) I can tell you from firsthand experience, he/she believes their own bullshit.

That would be pathological lying. I would lie about anything and everything if I felt a drink would be the end result. Then I would begin to live whichever lie suited me best for whichever opportunity would arise.

That is batshit crazy thinking.

Perpetuating whatever people want to hear to further advance my disease.
