To me, the difference is not that they are white or republican or that the mdeia is not covering it, it's that they are wholely unapologetic. They just don't give a fuck what you or I think or have to say about their "faith" and they see reason to even have discussion defending it. I think that's where the Democrats always step on their dicks. They keep trying to "explain" themselves to anyone and everyone who questions anything about them. It really comes across as rather weak compared to the other approach. Consider that it might have worked out a bit better for Romney of he just kept his mouth shut. As for the media, you can only ask a question and get no answer so many times before it makes no sense to ask it anymore. It's frustrating for those of use who want to know more but I guess one's faith is a personal thing, no matter how insane it is.
