... There is NO COMPARING these two ...
For me, anyway:
- it is so obvious that Obama has 'fake change mccain' outclassed, outbrained and outintentioned that the idea of McCain running from a debate (one of only 3, woe is us - one more lowered expectation to thank the Bush administration for) only makes sense...

So I ask: does the fact that McCain has a fighting chance in this thing (I know a good number of {generally older} people who back him) point to racism?

Don't even try and make that a consideration. The fact that you even pose the question makes you suspect.

McCain has "a fighting chance" because close to half the population of America do not see Obama as someone with class, brains or good intentions. Just because you don't like McCain, doesn't mean the people who do are racist. That's just retarded.
