A friend turned me on to them. Not sure what it is, but it just reminds me of the old days and the old style. Some great points in lyrics as well.

I can take or leave Atmosphere for the most part... actually, mostly leave 'em. Something about most of their songs seem a little bit whiny to me.

I saw them a few months back here in London (and years ago at a club, (scratch @ Scala) but my memory of that is rather hazy now) and their show was tight - the Atmosphere set was combined with Brother Ali's set so that they could fill hype-man type duties for each other - It was good stuff.

i saw atmosphere perform during their seven's travels tour. overall that was a pretty good show. i got into them shortly after they dropped the lucy ford lp. it is one of the few albums that ive purchased blind and actually liked. since that album i've only like a few songs from each release. i never heard the se7en album nor the lemon one. i thought the summer ep was great though.

It's got a live instrument type vibe to it and the production isn't too heavy or layered but it's a great album. A grower.
