I want to go for a quick shopping trip downtown after work, but my legs is tired. it'd end up being an 8 mile trip there and back to my house by bike. I could hop on a bus and get down there fast, but then my commute back home would involve a bus and a train and take longer.
:(
I rode like over 12 miles yesterday and 3 this morning. not too much, but my legssssssss.

I forgot to click the poll thing. oops.
well, I rode my bike. it's thick as pea soup out there! the humidity is totally bonkers right now.
it was a decent ride, I took some advil before so I think that helped. sucked on the way back though cuz I had to stop at pretty much every light and my brakes have gone squeaky so it's embarrassingly loud when I stop. SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEKKKKEKEKKEKEKE
thanks to everyone who participated. I got a new dress for $30! it's very exciting.

it looks like this: http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k317/East_Hill/IMG_1432.jpg
except it's blue and doesn't have fenders or tape like that and it's got the original black vinyl quilted seat.
it's hard to find pictures of it. not too common, though I finally saw another one the other day.
maybe i'll take a picture later. my handlebar tape is all messed up from crashing though. :(

I thought the rack were on the front side of the burs. Either way, this idea works for your troublesome predicament.

I don't know if that's the bike, but the frame is that shape. it's a raleigh "super record". it's a racing bike from the 70's. I've got italian puncture resistant tires on mine. so far a year and a half, no flats.
the wheels are steel and the whole things pretty heavy compared to newer bikes, but it's solid and I ride faster than at least 75% of people I encounter on the road. my favorite thing is being underestimated by a biker who will go in front of me when I'm stopped at a light and then I'm all, fuck you, blam, and speed past them.
anyway, here's my bike locked up in my backyard. it's dark out and I took it with my cell phone: http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v350/sarkyd/?action=view¤t=DSC00130.jpg

my bike tires blow out by just sitting on my porch. I've had the thing about a year and a half and both tired have gone out, and not because something ripped them apart. the front went with the valve just ripping through the tube. i haven't checked the other one yet, but its probably the same stupid problem

Get a Segway! I was the 1st on my block to get one and I'm still the only one on the block to have one. No one can keep up with this Jones's. Set the Benchmark High(y)

My hairs feathered and I'm wearing my jams while on my seg. Panama Who? Panama Jack Tank Top...I'm gonna ride my Seg all over you.

Dorothy Wood, I never knew you were a time shifter. Congratulations: You've chosen to use your powers for good. Keep up the Bon Scott Songs and the occasional Alice in Chain song
