What do you believe are the best vocal driven songs that are heavy on the metal.

I'm voting with a bullet in saying that THE WRIT is quite possibly the greatest song ever Sung by OZZY and Defines OZZY...That's RAW

PHIL from Pantera, Superjoint Ritual, and Damage Plan writes some edge of your seat type of lyrics. A Different blend of Poison but it's poison nonetheless. Ozzy is singing with his soul and Phil sings with his hatred.

It's between The Writ and Megalomania for me, if you're strictly talking 'Sabotage'. The complex ST record 'Art of Rebellion' had some interesting performances on it by Mike Muir. Dude can't really sing, but 'Can't Stop' was as good an intro track as I heard them do.

Superjoint was good. I liked that it sounded like hardcore crossed with metal. Phil's performance way back on Cemetery Gates kinda contradicts your theory, and is one I really like.

Another favourite metal performance for me is Hallowed be Thy Name by Iron Maiden. I doubt you're looking for recommendations, so I'm just sharing a couply I like.
