K, you've got Zelda covered. Next, get Wii Play, because you're going to want the second controller, and it's only ten bux more than a stand along remote, and you get an ok game. Then get Mario Galaxy. It's the best game for the system, and in my opinion, the best Mario game since Super Mario World. You're going to want a good multiplayer game, cause thats what the Wii seems to be made for, so get Mario Party or Mario Kart. Then, get Super Smash Brothers Brawl so you can kick Brett's ass. Virtually.

Once you've got all that out of the way, you can get less essential but still great games. Elebits is really fun if you like trashing houses and not having to clean it up. Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition is the best version of that game, hands down.

My favorite game on the wii was super mario galaxy. The first Rayman game was fun to play with people who don't normally play videogames but you would probably want to rent it. It's fun to shoot bunnies in the face.

I prefer Lego games on the DS. But if you want to try Lego Star Wars for the wii (or if you want my Trauma Center or Zack and Wiki), PM me.
