I know this probably belongs in the political forum but this upcoming election will decide the fate of our nation for generations. I urge you to watch this short video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Wroj0FLvzs), there are some critical political viewpoints expressed that should be seen by every American.

Is this a joke? Are these people for real? How does this way of thinking still exist in this day and age? She looked so self-satisfied, too, like she realized something that America seems to have not. It's really hard for me to believe that people still think like this.

Yeah, their votes do count. That's exactly why Brett and I are both signing up new voters up here in Edmonton. We got 4 from Ohio, 1 from Wisconsin, 1 from New Jersey, 3 from Virginia, and 1 from Oregon last Thursday - all told us they were voting Obama.
So while it is disheartening to see people vote based on racist, wrongful notions, at least we can feel better knowing we've gotten Democratic voters out there to counterbalance them. (y)

This is an example of flawed deductive reasoning.;)
While these particular people are obviously ignorant, we don't know that the rest of the population of their state is. We can't stereotype an entire population based on a small minority of people doing/saying something stupid.
