I am addicted to naps.

I'm sort of tired right now, but not like, unbearably tired, and I want to take a nap. Not because I really need a nap, but because I don't have anything else to do and I'm a little tired and it's what I always do this time of day. When I nap it's not like a little 20 min thing either. I'm talking like at very least an hour.

I need to do something about this habit... just this one last one, I swear...

I hear a job usually helps with your kind of problem...

I have a job. I mean I'm a full time student and work part time. I just sleep all the damn time between classes. I have stuff I want to do, schoolwork I could work on, I need a haircut, I need groceries, theres a book I want to get... but I don't want to do any of that. I just want to sleep. :(

I'll get all my work done fine in the span of today but feel pretty sure that I won't do anything else productive at all.

This is not a problem…my people invented the siesta and still managed to discover the new world while disco and cat napping our way across the seas…it’s only an issue if your depressed and are sleeping to avoid matters at hand or such…I love to sleep...sleepy,sleep,sleep...(y)

When ya wanna nap, do a set of push ups and sit ups. 20 each.

Get outta that habbit as soon as possible. You're not 70.

if you actually force yourself to do that, i'm sure it will work in no time. nobody on earth can honestly admit they like to do pushups....

Nah, I don't enjoy them, but they do the trick for just about any foul mood I may be in. Especially the sleepy feeling. I hate taking a nap, because I'm so sleepy when I wake up from one and feel like I wasted time.

... I forgot to mention that sometimes when I wake up I feel like complete shit and have trouble waking all the way back up and then I just want to keep sleeping all day because I feel so shitty. Uuuhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Now I feel grosssss. Sometimes I think I am legitimately in need of sleep and sometimes it is sorta just to kill time. Yeah, I need to work on this. Perhaps tomorrow I will try some sort of physical activity in lieu of my regularly scheduled nap.

and Jabumbo I think what you meant was that nobody can actually do 20 pushups. I refuse to believe that it's possible.

I used to take naps all the time when I was in school. I think it's all the reading. or the drinking. or the staying up all night doing homework.

anyway, you should set an alarm and not sleep more than 20 minutes.

POWER NAPS FTW!

I know you're supposed to only nap for like 20 mins, but it's like when I wake up I don't want to get up and then I just fall back asleep again and sometimes I end up spending like a couple hours passed out. I don't really drink. Or study. I do stay up really late though. I just get this really groggy uncomfortable feeling when I wake up and the easiest thing to do it just go back to sleep. Like when I woke up today I felt almost drunk, like my brain wouldn't boot up.

Blaaaaaaaaah. Yeah, I'm gonna shoot for getting to bed earlier than usual tonight, and actually being productive tomorrow instead of sleeping all day (y)

I don't really drink.

Maybe you should start!

C'mon, lets go drinkin'.

You logic is infallible. Bottoms up!

I just realized what I said about never drinking is a lie. I drink a couple times a week, but never like, go out to parties get hammered and stay out all night. More like go out to dinner, get hammered, and come home at a reasonable hour. I'm a very responsible drunk.

Thats no fun. Lets get smashed. Drink until we don't know our own names.

A few weeks ago I apparently chugged a significant amount of tequila and rapped the entire Humpty Dance. That's a little embarrasing. Good thing I was blackout drunk at the time, so the memories can't haunt me.

Seriously thought, I don't drink that much.

Matt

But the memories will haunt you in your dreams.

And that'll happen often, because you sleep so much.

It comes full circle.

there has been some stuff bothering me, and it may be a contributing factor, but i don't think thats entirely it. i think ive just fucked up my sleep schedule so much that i require naps to function.
