Here at work we get a weekly donation of premium ground beef for our food program...and the cook is at wit's end for new way's to conjure up meals utilizing it...anybody got ideas?...She works wonders out of her kitchen but is pretty limited by the range/oven she has...like meatloaf won't really work space and time wise, she turns out 60 servings 3 times a day so it's tough...anyway's I'm asking on her behalf...
Right now she's doing shepherds pie, meatballs,a stroganoff like thing, taco's ocasionally and in spaghetti sauce, but the kids are already begining to turn their noses up at it?
ideas?

taco salad with beef stewn on top? eh?
what about chili? or shloopppyyy joess.
she could also do a ground beef soup. fair enough ive only seen/had it at trucker stops but it was pretty damn good.
or take the spaghetti sauce and throw it into a lasagne instead. just to mix it up.
OR make some sort of sausage roll type thing with the beef. not sure how economic puff pastry is though.

Ground beef and rice, but that gets pretty old, probably.
Ground beef and eggs?
Would stuffed bell peppers be too much hassle?

Oh yeah -- burritos.
Can't believe I missed the obvious.
I'm assuming hamburgers are out, right?

yeah burgers are too much for her range...Sloppy Joes' that's great!...part of what we do with kids regarding occupational therapy and development is really encouraging them become involded in the meal, like hands on,serving themselves, etc, etc…so stuff like sloppy joe’s and Taco’s are dead on,some assembly required!...she's doing a chili as we speak...(y)
