q-tip has just released a mixtape cd called "abstract innovations" and its so brillant I had to let you know and he will be releasing a new album in november
called renaissonce (bad spelling I think).i know the beasties are huge fans maybe it will influance their new sound.I know they have there sound before the backlash.

Rumor was after years of battling with Diabetes he went into full on Kidney failure this summer and needs a transplant. Wither or not that is fully true- it was serious enough to cancel a bunch of tour dates

Damn. What a shame. From the looks of one of those links it seems his manager may have him covered on the kidney issue. Lets hope that remains true.

Iv been listening to so much Tip for the last 2 years. Renaissance is gonna be sooo good. So many great tracks on there already been leaked. November 4th it drops.

Q-Tip on the new Beastie album would be a dream. Adrock & Q-Tip would have to be my fav rappers of all time.

adrock and q-tip are my fav rappers of all time with mca 3rd the GZA(wu tang clan) 4th.
santogold is on the new beasties album,but i agree q-tip give them a call and make the summer joint of 2009.

I've just interviewed Q-Tip and he informed me that TCQ is never going to happen - he's scared of tainting what exists - and that he is probably going to be playing alongside the B-Boys on their upcoming dates...
