Totally different experience.

1) Holy crab cakes do some people wear a lot of makeup. Enough to make it a distraction versus helping.

2) Regular CNN showed the debates. HD CNN had all kinds of graphs and live feed polls from undescided voters. Interesting stuff.

I don't know if I like them better or not. Radio still gives it a magical quality.

I watched the CNN crap during the VP debates.
I had to switch to the ABC coverage in HD after about 3 minutes because I just couldn't deal with it anymore.

Anyone who actually enjoyed all those pie charts and opinion meters all over the screen needs Ritalin.

Yeah, I hate that "response-o-meter" or whatever the hell they call it when they have undecided Ohio voters tell us what they liked or did not like what the candidates said. I couldn't imagine how worse it'd be in HD with more pie-charts and graphs and so forth. Still, I guess hearing Tom Brokaw in full supersonic surround sound would be an experience unto itself.

I'm rocking a 7 channel Bose speaker set with a Yamaha reciever/driver, and a 50" plasma.

And I swear I don't have a small penis.
