You know that bit in Superbad where the lad admits to drawing willies all the time, well i think i suffer from something similar. I seem to have developed a habit for doodling 3D boxes/cubes/whatever all over my notepad at work, i cant stop doing it, even when i write "dont draw boxes" in large letters on my notepad.

What does this mean?
Am i a mental?
Should i go to a shrink?
Is it completely normal?
Do you doodle anything strange?

I do something like that at meetings. I can't help it - I always end up with huge sprawling trippy shapes all over my notepad. I hope my bosses don't think it's because I'm bored.

Oh yes. You're quite mad.

;)

Apparently doodling 3D boxes means:

"3-D boxes indicate an ordered mind and love of routine. Often drawn by people with a good sense of spatial relationships. A stack of balanced boxes might indicate great stress - especially if the stack is at risk of toppling!"

I tend to doodle eyes

"Drawings of eyes are practiced a great deal by artists, and may suggest a frustrated artistic talent. They are sometimes regarded as showing a wish to be desirable. A feeling of being watched might be shown by a staring eyes, or especially an eye through a keyhole - you feel your privacy is being invaded"

Hmm.

So its actually a proper thing then? Hmmm. That ordered thing is prolly bob on. I do stacking boxes as well but i thought they were at risk of toppling cos i am shit at drawing not cos i am stressed. Need ways to relieve stress hmmm cant think of any:rolleyes:.

odd...I just drew a 2 point perspective box on my midterm exam, plus some apples and a couple stylized F's (for a project...I wasn't my grade honestly!)

but yeah, I doodle...I'm supposed to, I'm an art student

I draw cocks all the time too.

I haven't seen Superbad, but funnily enough, my co-worker showed me that cock-drawing obsession clip just yesterday because he noticed that I always draw cocks when I'm bored.

When i was a teenager there was a helluva lot of cock related graffitti around where i lived. You just don't see it anymore. Perhaps it was an '80s thing.

I draw stars a lot - those stars where you don't draw over the same line and have 5 points.

Why do I do that?
Is it cus I'm a star?
Do I secretly want to lick balls?
Do I have my head in the clouds? [or stars]

Why why why?

I don't draw blocks or cubes, but I do draw strange shapes made out of straight lines and right angles. Similar, but different.

"Stars are drawn by ambitious people and may suggest a desire for self-promotion. Little stars indicate optimism, while asymmetrical stars suggest excess energy"

dunno i guess its just that you dont see as much dog shit in general and i think it only goes white when its been there for ages. I am sure there are many internet sites devoted to it but i am not typing in white dog shit into google at work.

I always doodle faces and words. Not necessarily together. I have this example of one that I put on Flickr that I coloured in too (it must have been a long phone call). They always seem to be really 'scratchy' too for some reason.

haha yes, I drove past a brick wall not long ago and there was a huge cock spraypainted on it, and I laughed and showed the girls I was with and they were like you don't see that very often these days!!

Kids in my neighbourhood used to spraypaint "bong on" everywhere as well. And "RIP Tupac" and "RIP Dre" (??) even though I lived in a mostly white middle class 'burb.

I doodle squiggles. Usually continuing from other squiggles.
With dots on top or lining on the side. Sometimes the dots get bigger and turn into small circles.
Sometimes they look like fireworks.
Or then I doodle loads of lines and curves next to each other, and more lines in the spaces inbetween...

I don't believe in the RickRoll. I enjoy that song whenever I hear it.
