The new Deadpool series is great. Issue #3 just came out this Weds. I'm lovin' it. My only complaint is that 1 and 2 seem really short and probably could have been combined into one mega first issue. So far it looks like Way's take on 'pool is really true to character, at least how I've always thought of him.

Based on every report I have read so far, you're going to be really disappointed by Deadpool in this movie. I predict a complete lack of breaking the fourth wall, scabby face/body, aluminum swords, and not much more than a half hour screen time tops.

They have to change details from print to screen, they also have to buy a new audience to make the film worth while - so you have to give a bit. It will suck but it will also be great. But those that say it will suck will also buy the merch. because they are geeks.

i love deadpool. id let him lock me in a box full of pointy things any day of the week. i read the original series (im not bad ass enough to actually have them, i got a torrent) havent read deadpool and cable yet (just isnt as appealing with a costar) and will be reading the new series.

i ordered wolverine origins 21-25 for deadpool... i think hes in some later ones as well? 24 never showed up. ebay fucker. so im still working on that. the tpb of all of the deadpool issues shoud be out around christmas time but i kinda wanted the actual comics. i would sorta like to start reading the wolvie origins but just havent felt like putting in the effort... start reading from 21 - present.

but yeah. i <3 wade wilson. i forget who the middle writer was for deadpool.... it was priest, somebody, somebody.... i think the first somebody was kelly? anyway, that set i didnt like so much, but the rest of it was pretty great.
