I think the anti-smoking lobby has gone too far

So Bette Davis has now made it onto a stamp, but guess what? The cigarette in her hand has been painted out? WTF?

I hate smoking too, but please, this is blatant censorship.

Roger Ebert has a good commentary decrying this stupid decision.

Remember the movie "Thank You For Smoking" where the U.S. senator wanted to edit out smoking in every old Hollywood movie of yesteryear? I guess they weren't too far from the truth.

already years ago i saw in some american interviews how the cigs got censored but you could still see the smoke so that one wasnt a tough riddle
