Unbelievable, if this guy truly believed the bullshit he's been spewing to the media he would've pulled himself up by his bootstraps and have turned this "handout", this "welfare check", this "socialist ideal", and this "spreading the wealth" down.

No he didn't ask for it, it was a gift....but for someone who OWES back taxes and has OTHERS pay em off, well that's just weak sauce, the blood of republicans.

Now Joe the Plumber can disappear into infamy because he can no longer be a model and a tool of the mccain/palin campaign.

NewsRadio 1190 KEX’s afternoon hosts Mark Mason and Dave Anderson from Portland, Oregon heard of Wurzelbacher’s plight and wanted to help. Mason and Anderson secured the website http://www.savejoetheplumber.net/ and started accepting donations. The goal was to cover Wurzelbacher’s tax bill and plumber’s license. By the weekend, $1,821 had been raised from donations coming from 31 states.

The mythical Joe the Plumber, a liar and republican fabrication. A fellow who has lower credibility than any of the thousands of people I've associated with this past eight years is somehow beloved by Republicans. That is just the icing on McCain's failed presidential campaign strategy. In the end he is going to find a way to help himself, as he was when he avoided paying his taxes and lied about his stature in life. A self centered ass. Who the republicans embrace.

Lately the right winger's (http://www.latimes.com/news/opinion/commentary/la-oe-goldberg21-2008oct21,0,1298238.column)have been trying to paint the media and democrats as attacking poor (Joe) Samuel the Plumber, the best response I've read to this line of thinking is below,

The reason we (sane) people hate Joe the Plumber is because he's a moron. Once the two tax proposals were actually EXPLAINED to him he conceded that he would do better under OBAMA'S tax proposal but was still supporting McCain. Why? Because he's a moron. After 8 years of Bush you would think the lower/middle class would catch on that the Republicans do not represent them. They do NOT have their best interests at heart. That their policies do nothing but make their lives even tougher but they continue to support them because they're morons. Sorry if I've gotten too technical for you but there you have it.

do not think you struck hard there - I would assume that an opposing arguement would come out that it was not Socialist because it was peoples' choice to help this guy out, not the government "stealing my hard earned money" from me to redistribute to him ....
