I bought an instrumental hip hop 7" the other day by some guy called snowman on a new label called all city - street corner music b/w rise - it's pretty fresh.
I checked out his myspace today and although I'm not too sure who the MC is, there's a vocal track on there called Strategies remix that name checks the beasties within the first few lines - I'm more into the instrumental stuff but it's not a bad track.

Sorry, would have posted a link before but I get all paranoid about spamming people with my musical recommendations. It looks like the MC that name checked the Beasties on that remix is being credited as 'GS'(?)
That All City label has got some other decent stuff on it - I got another 7" by a guy called Le N?ko that's good, and I think they've got something by that Hudson Mohawke guy from Glasgow lined up.
Another label that's just starting out is One Handed music - they've been releasing stuff by a friend of mine called Paul White - Paul's creating some sick stuff recently - definitely check him out if you're interested - he's a genuinely pleasant and humble geezer - www.myspace.com/paulmw
Hell, I could start a pretty chunky thread about some of the 'Wonky Hip Hop' stuff that's coming out recently. Some of it's a bit 'souly' for me, but there's some really interesting and experimental music going on.
