Christie's Auction House in NYC is hosting an auction on November 24 of some pretty amazing rock memorabilia. You can track auctions online and place bids. Here's what got my attention: "A few highlights from the auction include...[o]riginal artwork for the cover of the Beastie Boys' 1986 debut album License to Ill, by artist David Gambale. The iconic image was created by assembling a photographic collage of a plane crash, then meticulously drawing over the components and hand-coloring them with water soluble crayon. Inscribed, Beastie Boys I David Gambale 1986 on the lower border. Framed, 43½x26in." It's estimated to auction between $20,000 and $30,000.
