Tonight I got my 3rd anthrax inoculation. I knew (from experience) that this is the most painful shot I've ever received but tonight's was especially painful... damn... Now I get to look forward to a hard lump growing on my shoulder.

I'm assuming you have to complete your anthrax inoculations, but did you have a choice to get it in the first place. Are you deployed or soon to be deployed and is anthrax still a massive concern amongst soldiers in the middle east?

No there isn't a choice. It's mandatory when you are stationed in Korea. I don't mind that, it's the military. I'm just bitching and moaning about the pain :D

Congrats! There isn't enough of that stuff to go around.

If we have an incident, you will be one of the few survivors.

I got my small pox one last time I was here (along with my first anthrax). That was a gross one. You know it's bad when they give you a baggy full of rubber gloves and bandaids and tell you "I wouldn't touch your arm and then your eyes or genitals if I were you..."(!)

and then there's that annoying scar...
