I think PC's are flakey. I"m not enough of a h@xz0r to want to peter around with one and make it not suck. I'm too old for all that free pirate music and bullcrap

I'd been saying Vista was a case of the ME's when I got this rig a few months ago but now it's official. I thought they would at least wait until 2010 but everyone I know has a low opinion of Vista, so they really need to capture their market back. I am becoming more and more disenchanted with PCs the more I work with them. If I could swing a Mac I totally would and leave my old Toshiba laptop to the undesirable stuff.:cool: It's awesome for watching movies on though.

Matt, you ever try booting up a Ubuntu disc? What are your specs? It sucks how Vista is pretty much useless on anything with less than 2 gigs of RAM.

I'm trying to figure out why I never heard of Windows ME. I'm trying to remember where I lived back then and whether I had a home computer.

I don't understand the deal with Vista. I only used it for a few of weeks, because it came with my super shitty laptop -- the laptop that I bought just to use on a foreign trip when I didn't want to bring my mac laptop. It worked on my super shitty laptop, but maybe I wasn't doing the things that other people do?
