Actually the meal is a pie floater, which is an upside down meat pie sitting in pea soup. A South Australian dish. Sounds disgusting but when your tanked, its the fucking bomb.

Unfortunately the pie cart he was referring to, like all the others, (there were 10, then 5, then 3, then 1) have gone and disappeared, since back then they were the only food place open at 3am... now in our 24 hour lifestyle tons of food places are open 24 hours for the drunken customer.

Its funny you mention that because not even 3 months ago my company produced a documentary on the demise of the famous South Australian pie cart.
