for the past couple months, i've regularly been getting headaches on saturday nights. it feels like either a migraine or a sinus headache, it's like towards the end of the night, regardless of what i've done that day or done the night before, i get this headache where it's like there's a tiny heart behind my left eye, and instead of blood, it pumps pain. or stated alternatively, it's like there's a rope of pain extending from the back of my left eye to the back of my head. or put even another way, it's like there's a rock in my head, and whenever i move, it rattles and hurts. also it hurts when i sit perfectly still

i go to bed and i feel fine the next day. it only comes on saturdays. at first i thought maybe it was an alcohol thing, because i generally drink on friday nights, but i've drunk equally as much on other nights, in the middle of the week, and nothing happens, it only happens on saturday. i've also thought maybe it's a caffeine thing, because i generally drink a lot of coffee during the week, and then i don't on weekends, because i sleep in, but no, i've had coffee on saturdays too and it doesn't help.

so every saturday, every single one, without fail, like clockwork, i get this terrible headache. i don't get it. i'd see a doctor but i'm american and it costs money here, and quite honestly i'd rather have the headache than pay to fix it

Who you gonna call?

I'd recommend your GP.

You may not want to hear this- seeing as how you don't want to go to a doctor but I suggest you go to a doctor. My roommate had a headache (of various degrees) on and off for like 4 years and it turned out to be a brain tumor. Don't mean to scare you- its probably not that since his was more or less always there, but shit man, some one had to tell you, get your ass to a doctor...

hmm...i would rather pay for a doctor than have a brain tumor. maybe i'll go to the school's clinic, i'll bet they can detect brain tumors

I hope it's nothing as serious as a tumor.

Sounds like maybe it's a psychosomatic thing.
Like maybe you know there's single women who want to get laid out and available on Saturday nights and your brain creates this "headache" so you don't have to go out and potentially get laid by them.

do you eat different things/at different times during a saturday? could be a food thing that is different from your weekday routine. or too much sleep? i dunny know.
