Its in my room and it started making a noise about 5am this morning like a stone had got caught in it. I fiddled with it and couldn't do anything without destroying so I left it hoping it'd clear. I thought it had, cus didn't hear it the few times I've been in my room today. Now its time to sleep and right on cue as soon as I get in bed it starts. So I've unplugged and will plug it back in tomorrow morning. But

You need to keep the water oxygenated.

If the pump shits the bed on you for good you can add some Hydrogen Peroxide to keep the water oxygenated.
I use to use this trick when I went fishing. We'd add some to the livewell to help keep the fish alive.

Plan on getting a new filter. Your pump is on it's deathbed.
