it's not my proudest story, but in a moment of drunk self-obsession i created a hotornot.com profile just to see what people thought of me, and all of my scores were either 3's or 9's. the 9's were from men mostly. i don't see how that's possible

that site is stupid though. go through and rate a few people on the front page, fuck, rate a hundred. not one single one of them is rated below a 9, no matter how greasy or nasty they look. i don't know how i got 3's.

I realize it's not really a dude thing, but I'm struggling with a few of my own body issues lately. I've lost a lot of weight and, honestly, I really can't see it. I'm still working on losing quite a bit more to get to a "healthy" weight.

Anyway, people always comment on how I've improved in looks and stuff but like I said, when I look at myself in the mirror I just really can't see it.

It's a weird place to be because I know I must look somewhat better. I can't imagine why everyone else but me can really see it. It'd really be a shame to lose all this weight only to find out I'm still terribly ugly. Anyway, I voted myself at "Pretty ugly."

right now, it's probably going to sound kind of fake, but i definitely noticed an improvement in your most recent sure shots picture. i was going to say something too, but i always feel weird about complimenting people for losing weight. i'm always afraid they'll think i'm saying something like "man you were huge before but you look downright respectable now, way to go" which really isn't what i'm saying at all, i'm just saying that you've lost a lot of weight and it shows.

anyway, that's why i didn't say anything in sure shots, but i was definitely thinking it, i really can see the results. i imagine it's harder on your end because you're seeing it gradually, you look at yourself every day, and you can never lose enough weight in a day to see the difference. but as someone who's only seen pictures of you intermittently, you should know, you're definitely showing results and you should be proud :)

When I look at pictures and stuff, I can definitely see it. Just when it comes to looking at the real deal in the mirror or stuff like that I struggle with noticing a difference.

Sure, I fit in smaller clothes and stuff now, but I guess I am looking for something more.
