This is probably old news by now, but if Sly Stone is down for collaborations, I hope the Boys are taking him up on his offer. They have sampled him plenty in the past, so it would be cool to see them actually perform, produce and collaborate together.

Dude is out of his mind though. Like, extremely.

I went to see him last month perform in Santa Rosa, CA, and it was a complete circus. Sly, as usual, showed up like 45 minutes late, came out for like 25 min only, didnt know any of the words, didnt play anything nearly coherent on the keys, didnt sing anything coherent, said he was going to take a piss and never came back. I read later that he took all the money from the show, including the band's pay, and bailed out. The band, including like 3 or 4 original members (some actually blood related) ended up chasing his limo down and cornering him at a gas station in Nor Cal to collect their loot for the gig.

Oh yeah, he didnt even know where he was either. He said something about being in Sacramento. We were in Santa Rosa.

Such a shame.

I wish I didn't know that. That was the saddest shit I've ever read. I hate it when people who you really respect end up being all too messed up and maybe even ultimately not worthy of your high esteem. That sucks.
