This captioned cat picture postcard was found by Tracy Angulo in a Seattle antique store. Tracy tells us that the photograph is from 1905, which would make this officially the oldest cat picture with a caption, AKA lolcat, that we’ve seen.

I'm mad because I have scoured all those haunts in Seattle (WHERE THE CARD WAS FOUND) and I have a zillion postcards that I've collected since I was a kid, from 1893 through the 1970's.

That laugh out loud feline should be MINE! :mad:

Of course I don't think I would of been smart enough to connect it with some sort of internet cult of LOLCats.

Still the card is of value, I'm just not sure if it is one of a kind. Those humor cards usually had pretty big runs.
