how seriously do you take yelp?

I kinda get mad about bad reviews of the business I work for and the bar my friends own. even though there aren't that many (actually just one bad one about my place that doesn't make any sense and uses bad grammar), I'm all, fuck you, dick.

as for my friend's bar...what do people want in a bar? there are all kinds of complaints about there being too many hipsters...but...it's just a bar, they didn't specifically only invite hipsters. they have live music of all different kinds, and they have DJs who play all types of music. any bar that isn't expensive and isn't a sports bar is going to have hipsters at it. so lame. either that or people think it's too plain in there. whatever, bars are for drinking talking to your friends and sometimes dancing. f haters.

I don't know what yelp is, but I'm guessing that I probably take it a little too seriously judging from the rest of my life.

I don't put a ton of weight into the reviews that I read on Yelp, but I do place some weight into them. For instance, if I read the same thing about a place from a zillion different people then I'm definitely bracing myself for that experience.

I have not gone to places because all the reviews on Yelp were pretty shitty. The place has power, yo.

i just went on yelp and there are like a million reviews of the restaurant where i work and they mention people i know! weird.
