thank god. maybe I should buy one though, in case they become a collector's item. sell it for thousands of dollars in 2030? (in 2030, thousands of dollars will equal 20 bucks)

I was thinkin the same thing. Wanna have a Bratz party at the Skylark? ;-)

I can't stand those dolls though. Would it be an artistic statement to buy all of them and hang them from street signs? Or maybe use them as hurling objects to throw at the increased population of bitchy people. There's gotta be some use for'em. Besides a collector's item. I couldn't tell people I had a Bratz doll collection.

:D

Bratz are stupid, but I don't think Mattel should have won this case. This basically says no one can make plastic dolls for girls except for them. I know Bratz dolls were cutting into the profits of Barbie, but that's the nature of the business, and it seems like instead of trying to evolve, Mattel is just eliminating the competition.

actually, i read the article and it said that they couldn't sell them b/c the idea was developed by a guy while he worked at barbie and then he left and took his idea somewhere else. so basically barbie says they own the idea.
